In brief: On September 28, 2026, Meta announced Meta Enterprise Platform, an initiative designed to bring its AI technology into business operations. Its initial focus includes making the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code and related technology available to businesses and developers. The announcement does not specify an Azerbaijan launch date, local pricing or account-level availability, so companies should treat it as a strategic signal rather than an immediately available feature.
What did Meta announce?
According to Meta's official statement, Enterprise Platform aims to turn the company's models, agents and large-scale infrastructure into products and services that businesses can deploy. The first phase is expected to include Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code and additional tools.
This is broader than another AI feature for ad creation. The direction extends toward agents that may support customer communication, internal workflows, data processing, development and tasks across business systems. Meta's September 28 announcement, however, does not provide a detailed country list, pricing structure or full release timetable.
What can Meta Business Agent do?
In a separate product announcement dated June 3, 2026, Meta described Business Agent as a tool designed to answer company-specific questions, recommend products from a catalogue, book appointments, qualify incoming leads, hand conversations to a team member and support sales. It is intended to operate close to the messaging channels customers already use, including WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.
The new Enterprise Platform is positioned as a wider enterprise layer for such capabilities. Over time, the more important shift may be from answering questions to performing controlled tasks across CRM, ecommerce, support and operational systems.
Potential impact for businesses in Azerbaijan
Many customer journeys in Azerbaijan begin in Instagram Direct, WhatsApp or Messenger. Slow responses, inconsistent information and weak handoffs to sales teams can reduce the real return from advertising. When implemented well, business agents may shorten first-response time, standardise answers to common questions and classify enquiries by intent.
Automation does not repair a poor knowledge base. If pricing, stock, service terms, location or campaign details are outdated, an agent can distribute incorrect information faster. Azerbaijani-language quality, local expressions, payment and delivery rules, personal-data handling and human escalation procedures all require testing.
Six actions marketing and sales teams can take now
Map incoming enquiries: group questions from Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, website forms and calls by topic, intent and sales stage.
Create one approved knowledge source: maintain validated information about services, pricing policy, hours, locations, delivery, guarantees and frequently asked questions.
Define human escalation: document when complaints, custom pricing, legal matters, payment issues and high-value opportunities must be transferred to a team member.
Start with a limited pilot: test response accuracy on one channel and a small set of topics instead of automating the entire customer journey at once.
Measure business outcomes: compare first-response time, qualified-lead rate, bookings, sales progression and human-intervention rate rather than counting replies alone.
Verify availability in your account: include Enterprise Platform and related products in an implementation plan only after confirming availability for the relevant market, language and account in official Meta interfaces and documentation.
Marketing Partner's view
An AI agent should be evaluated across the entire journey from advertising to sales, not as a standalone technology purchase. If the advertising message, social content, knowledge base, CRM stages and measurement system are disconnected, automation can simply produce faster but weaker communication.
Marketing Partner can develop the communication system across social channels through Social Media Marketing (SMM), while its digital marketing service connects advertising, analytics and sales progression within one plan.
